I Can't Move

A videoclip I made for the song ‘I Can’t Move’ by Martin Creed from the album ‘Love to you’.
The video shows a collection of objects on eBay, waiting to be sold. These items are no longer wanted by the owner, and if purchased will move onto someone new; revealing a human-like relationship that mirrors the lyrics of the song. The objects literally ‘can’t move’ without human intervention, but come to life as the images change. In some cases they are even made to sing and dance, as the mouse hovers over the frames, playing them like keys on a piano.
